About us

Ben Brinnand leads a dedicated team of fully- qualified professional arborists who are always careful about the safety on site and permanently aim to improve their practical and theoretical knowledge. At Arbologie, we understand the anatomy of trees and the ecosystems around us, we wish to protect the trees and their natural environment for future generations. Over time, our professionalism and the quality of our services have enabled us to better understand the different needs of our customers and have allowed us to create a network of contacts around Sarlat-la-Canéda, Gourdon and Souillac.

Our skill and knowledge has given us the opportunity to work at some of the most historically important sites in the Périgord noir, caring for the trees and surrounding forests, some dating back to the mediaeval era.

We are also specialized in urban forestry, helping trees and nature adapt and flourish within the needs of the built environment. We know how to ensure your trees, forests and gardens are safe and healthy for the future.

Ben, the tree surgeon, made two visits. He arrived on time and was very well prepared with all the gear necessary to complete the assignments. He showed good skills in undertaking the necessary work. I can't rate Ben highly enough. Very knowledgeable and skilful. He reduced the height of several oak trees, as the view was slowly disappearing, and removed dead and potentially dangerous branches from many more. Lost count of the number exactly but he must have worked on 12 or more trees in 1.5 days. We will definitely be using his services again and I would highly recommend him. Oh, and he's a nice bloke as well!

Excellent professional service, Ben is extremely knowledgeable and highly competent. All work was carried out to a very high standard, trees felled perfectly around buildings with great skill. Poor weather wasn't an obstacle and a lot of hard work for a very reasonable bill. Highly recommended and we will use again.
